Carl from Moffitt Services explains how they use FleetPanda’s tank monitor integration

Carl from Moffitt Services explains how they use FleetPanda’s tank monitor integration

We have about 1800 monitors across 3 different brands. And there’s a separate portal for the monitors. It was more of a task for them to then go over here, look up the monitor for our auto fill customers.

So we went to Fleet Panda and said, “Is there any way to integrate this where we could see the monitor in Fleet Panda?”. They developed that.

Then phase 2 was “could the system just create the order?”. So now we can go in and put in a threshold. Let’s just say the customer says come auto fill at 40%. When that monitor gets to 40%, it will automatically create an order. Then we can tell it this customer requires a purchase order before we go. So it will organize those orders separately from the ones that don’t require a purchase order. Some may not require a purchase order, but they want an approval. Those were organized as well so that our folks can call and get those purchase orders or get those approvals.

And that’s all we have to do. We don’t have to remember to create the order. We don’t have to go to a separate portal and go look for the fluid level monitor readings because it’s now integrated in one place.

The Problem

The Problem

Fuel marketers operate with thousands of tank monitors on the field across different brands. They have to juggle keep an eye out for each monitor’s level across different customer requirements and across multiple brand portals.
There’s also tedious manual order entry, and the constant threat of disruptive run-outs.
This results in unplanned deliveries, diminished fill efficiency, and significant dispatcher time spent.
The ripple effect is a further reduction of already tight profit margins.

One screen for all tank monitor brands

Access fuel levels and all other tank monitor details of all your tank monitors regardless of brand on one screen.

Threshold-Based Order Creation

Set overall or customer-specific limits and trigger automatic orders when levels fall below those thresholds. Or opt to be notified instead so you can attach purchase orders or approvals. While placing the order, you also have the option to refill other tanks at the same ShipTo location.

Consumption Insights

See daily usage rates and predict how many days remain before a tank is depleted. This prevents run-outs, helps you schedule orders in advance, and allows dispatchers to consolidate nearby deliveries.

Alerts when an asset is moved to a new location

Get notified if the asset has shifted locations when creating orders, ensuring drivers don’t head to the wrong spot.
