Moffitt Services’ Carl Kleimann, walks through their tank monitor integration with FleetPanda

We have about 1800 monitors across 3 different brands. And there’s a separate portal for the monitors. It was more of a task for them to then go over here, look up the monitor for our auto fill customers.

So we went to Fleet Panda and said, “Is there any way to integrate this where we could see the monitor in Fleet Panda?”. They developed that.

Then phase 2 was “could the system just create the order?”. So now we can go in and put in a threshold. Let’s just say the customer says come auto fill at 40%. When that monitor gets to 40%, it will automatically create an order. Then we can tell it this customer requires a purchase order before we go. So it will organize those orders separately from the ones that don’t require a purchase order. Some may not require a purchase order, but they want an approval. Those were organized as well so that our folks can call and get those purchase orders or get those approvals.

And that’s all we have to do. We don’t have to remember to create the order. We don’t have to go to a separate portal and go look for the fluid level monitor readings because it’s now integrated in one place.

The Problem

The Problem

Managing thousands of monitors, often from different vendors, leaves fuel distributors wrestling with scattered data. Hours are spent toggling between portals and entering orders manually, all while run-outs threaten to happen at any moment. Emergency refills inevitably follow, disrupting plans and wasting valuable resources. With profits already thin, these inefficiencies only make matters worse.

Consolidated Tank Overview

Gather Graco tank readings (plus data from other brands) into one centralized view.

Trigger Orders Automatically

Set global or customer-based tank level thresholds for orders to generate instantly. Alternatively, receive notifications first for any required approvals. You can also add other tanks from the same ShipTo into a single order.

Usage Forecasts

Observe daily consumption to determine how many days remain before a tank needs refilling. This approach helps avoid run-outs and allows dispatchers to batch deliveries efficiently.

Relocation Notices

Get an alert if a Graco-monitored asset is moved, making sure drivers always have accurate directions.
