Fuel distributors today manage an extensive number of tank monitors and are forced to navigate multiple portals, engage in time-consuming manual order processing, and risk expensive run-outs. This leads to urgent deliveries, decreased efficiency in fills, and a substantial workload for dispatchers—further affecting already tight profit margins.

We own around 1800 tank monitors spread across 3 different brands. Each brand has its own portal ofcourse. It was a huge task for the dispatchers to check each portal, search and find the tank monitor for each of our auto-fill customers and then create those orders.
So we went to FleetPanda and told them we would like to monitor the fluid level reading of all our ~2000 monitors in FleetPanda on one screen. They developed that first. Then as a phase 2 we asked them “could the FleetPanda platform just create the order automatically?”. They developed that next.

Now we can enter a threshold, say 40% for a specific auto-fill customer and at that level, an order gets created automatically without us having to do anything. We also have the option to be notified that this customer requires a purchase order, so the system will organize those orders separately so that we can get that done before the order is created. Similarly some customers require an approval instead of a purchase order and FleetPanda organizes them separately too.
